Gouda Grits with Eggs and Peppers

I loooove adding gouda to my grits. Grits and eggs is soul food in my southern family, but I like to put a spin on it with bell peppers and green onions. 


  • grits for as many people as you are serving
  • 1 or 2 eggs per person
  • 1/4 bell pepper per person
  • handful of green onions per person 
  • Tony's Creole Seasoning 
  • 1/2 cup of Gouda cheese per person 

Step 1: Follow cooking instructions on the container of grits. 

Step 2: Sautee bell peppers and set them aside for later. 

Step 3: Fry eggs. I like mine over easy. 

Step 4: Add grits to a bowl and stir in Gouda cheese. Put eggs, bell peppers, and green onions on top and sprinkle with Tony's. Enjoy!
